Regis
Regis was established in 1994 and was acquired by the Group in 2002 and 2004. Regis performs a whole spectrum of geological exploration work from initial surveying to detailed delineation of ore bodies for final feasibility studies. Today Regis employs 764 specialists, qualified geologists, mine-surveyors and computer simulation geologists for the geological tracking of works.
Regis specializes in full surveys specializing in gold, iron-ore, nonferrous metal ore bodies, as well as the restoration of the mineral-ore base of the Amur Region. Annually, the company works through approximately 150 kilometers of borings. The company is equipped with contemporary drilling and excavating technology, newest geological & mine surveying equipment with linked GPS. Practically all geological survey sections are supplied with contemporary computer equipment and satellite communications. In 2007 within REGIS a specialized group of geologists was formed to prepare materials for the protection of reserves throughout the structures in the group. At the present time this group is focused on the ore bodies at the Pioneer and Malomir mines.
