Dalgeologiya was established in 2007 to support the group with geological surveying and establish reserves and resources at the Group’s gold and iron-ore projects.
Dalgeologiya employs more than 300 specialists involved in all phases of conducting geological survey works - from drilling masters to geological engineers.
The basic works carried out by this company are the mechanized digging of ditches, core drilling and the geophysical studies of bore holes. Detailed geological exploration works include different methods of geophysical and geochemical studies. The firm possesses a wide array of geological instrumentation, contemporary geophysical and mine-drilling equipment, bulldozers and cross-country technical trucks. Boring machine tools such as Christianson (Canada) ensure speeds for core drilling to 1500 meters of bore holes per month, leaving cores of 90-100%. For the logging of bore holes is a complex well station, installed on the bed of a cross-country vehicle “GAS 71”. The geophysical studies possible from such bore holes include radiometric, electrical and magnetic methods. For purposes of control in driving the bore holes gyroscopic inclinometry and well measurements are used. In the suite of geological exploration works available, litho chemical surveys along the second halos and the leakage fluxes have been adapted, high-precision magnetic prospecting, electrical prospecting using electrical resistance, natural electric field, caused polarization and transient processes.
